FIT Show 2016 stand.

2016 saw Sealco’s first time exhibiting our door and window hardware expertise at FIT Show. The team enjoyed a busy stand across the three day show at the Telford International Centre, with a new product launch in association with Yale Window and Door Solutions.

We bought examples of our full range of door and window hardware, as well as introducing a new timber hardware product catalogue, a helpful addition to its customer service offering for window and door fabricators in the UK.</ br>

Part of the range on show was Sealco’s range of essentials: Endurance. Built to perform better, the Endurance range includes window and door handles and letter plates in a range of finishes, as well as inline espagnolettes and top consumables like professional glazing packers and the newly-launched paintable putty.

The highlight of our FIT Show was the product launch of our new fully reversible hinge in association with Yale. Exclusively distributed by Sealco in the UK, the Yale Revolution Window Hinge is really versatile. We worked alongside Yale during the design stages of the new hinge, and its clever design gives it two functions: anti-blowback and easy close.

The result is a fully reversible window hinge which is practical for both private and public sector specifications and is easier for installers to stock. Developers, housing associations and commercial owners only need to specify their preferred closing option on installation of the window.

The hinge was officially launched at the FIT Show, with the event well-attended by the glazing press. They enjoyed a presentation of the new product from Alan and Norman and a comprehensive press pack, giving them all the information on the new products that Sealco is introducing to its range, to help fabricators, manufacturers and window installers work more efficiently and effectively.

Another FIT Show highlight for was being shortlisted for the Most Creative Shell Scheme Stand FIT Show Award, announced at the Gala Dinner. The ‘Warehouse on a Stand’ concept grabbed plenty of attention with its clever design. Computer-generated visuals of racks with boxes of hardware, complete with well-known hardware brand, formed the side walls of the stand. It also featured a demonstration window and real hardware samples alongside a new corporate video, which was recently filmed at the recently refurbished Sealco offices in Falkirk.

The biggest thing that came out of the FIT Show for Sealco was that fabricators are always looking for both expertise and a reliable supply of door and window hardware, and that’s what we offer customers across the whole of the UK.

By holding huge stocks of our massive range of door and window hardware from top-level brands like Yale, Maco, Trojan, GU and Hoppe and holding massive stocks we make sure speedy deliveries to busy fabricators are the next day, so that they can get on with the job in hand. Plus, all of our customer service advisors have extensive background knowledge of our full product range so that they can offer the best product advice over the phone.

We’ll be back at FIT 2017 with more to show customers – and we’re already working on new products to add to the range.
