From The Anvil Burnished Brass Secure Stops (Pack of 4)

Description

Our collection of sash furniture is available in various finishes designed to flawlessly match the rest of our products.

• Designed to fit to the frame/box and restrict movement of the sash window.
• Ideal for adding extra security to upper floors, particularly for homes with children, these lockable stops are insurance compliant.
• Sold in sets of four (enough for two windows if not used in a night-vent configuration).
• If night-venting is required, the third and fourth stops should be fitted 100mm above the first and second to restrict full opening of the window.
• The secure stop is non-load bearing and therefore is not subject to the requirements of BS EN 14351-1.
• Supplied with matching SS wood screws.

Burnished Brass is an excellent choice for those wanting to add subtle luxury to their home interiors. Offering warmth without over dominating, this timeless finish complements a range of colours, and looks especially stunning when paired with paler shades.

Hand forged from a base of solid brass, Burnished Brass is an excellent example of how our unique manufacturing techniques add further intrigue to the natural charm of the base material. Each product undergoes an accelerated ageing process, creating a dark patina before being placed into barrelling machines, giving them the beautiful burnished finish. During the final stages of manufacturing, a high quality, clear matt lacquer is applied for protection.

We advise against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the lacquer.

Products should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth and wiped over with a wax-based furniture polish like our ‘Maintenance Wax’ (33002) to offer some protection.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using our ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
