Sealco has launched a new key cutting service to make it easier for window and door fabricators, locksmiths and homeowners.

The UK leading independent hardware distributor noticed a trend in the request for extra keys with sales of cylinder locks. This latest investment in the state-of-the-art key cutting technology allows them to meet this demand.

Alan Malcolm, Sales Director at Sealco said: “More and more of our customers have been requesting extra keys, especially fabricators who are working on large scale commercial or local authority projects, where multiple keys are almost always required.

“So customers don’t have to worry about getting new keys cut themselves, we’ve invested in the latest key cutting technology so that we can provide as many extra keys as they need with their cylinder purchase.”

Keys are cut in just 25 seconds using the new Keyline Ninja Dark key cutting technology, enabling Sealco staff to cut new keys with absolute precision, at the push of a button. The new cutting service is available at Sealco’s Falkirk trade counter too, so customers can pop in to have extra keys cut, as and when required.

“Essentially, this new service saves customers time, effort and money,” continues Alan. “And it helps them to offer a more comprehensive service to their own customers. It makes life easier for homeowners, because they’ll have enough spare keys straight after having a lock changing or a new front door installed.”

Sealco has invested in big stocks of key blanks for every lock cylinder they offer so whichever lock customers opt for, they have the choice of ordering extra keys too.
